All that glitters.....

.....is instant sartorial gold. Maybe it's the blinding effect of all those sequins but we're suckers for anything spangled. Luckily for you, these are more glam rock than rest stop so add a little glitz to your wardrobe. Warning: it's addictive.

Early '80s Oleg Cassini sequined mini dress

Black, backless and bedazzled, this sizzling Oleg Cassini mini dress pretty much defines the word show-stopper. The slouchy top and dolman sleeves keep it just this side of scandalous and the black sequins are sparkling, not scary.
Labeled a size six, it's more like a 0-2.
SOLD
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Late '70s I. Magnin sequined harem jacket

If the windbreakers looked like this, we would've never skipped P.E. ! Dripping in black, silver, and gunmetal sequins, it's short in the front with a rounded longer back and two front hook & eye closures. Amazing over drainpipes or a mini.
Labeled an 8 but its slouchy style will fit a range (0-8)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Early '60s lime beaded & sequined evening dress

Comparatively demure, this floor-length confection is the perfect cure for the winter doldrums. Figure-skimming, with elaborate floral beading all around the neckline. No designer or size labels but a "Made in British Colony of Hong Kong" label - impeccably made.
Will fit a modern 6-8, hem is creased, not unstitched.
------------------------------------------------------------------

'70s "Tally Boutique" sequined tulip skirt

Concerned that there just wasn't enough disco ball taking place with this black slit-to-thigh skirt we took the liberty of throwing a hologram sash on over it. From "Tally Creations - New York" this bit of seventies sparkle can also be worn as a top. Labeled an 8, it seems pretty true to size. Sash can be included. -

Grecian Formula: Five Divine Dresses

We're not talking about the mid-life crisis variety - these beautifully draped and diaphanous dresses are guaranteed to bring out your inner deity.

'70s Halston Sublime Silk Jersey Dress

A dream of a dress, this black silk jersey dress is classic Halston. Impeccably draped in ethereal tiers it moves beautifully for heart-stopping glimpses of skin. Original Halston label (not diffusion lines), no size but approximately a contemporary 0-4.
SOLD
-------------------------------------------------------------

'70s Holly's Harp black faux-wrap dress

Pictures don't do this one justice - it's quite a bit racier in reality with its plunging v-neck, keyhole back closure, and figure skimming semi-sheer fabric.
Labeled a medium, this will fit a range of sizes up to about a modern 8.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

'70s Stan Herman for Van Raalte slip/dress

Technically, this one's lingerie but we think it's even better as a dress (partially lined in the important places). By Mr. Mort designer Stan Herman, its turquoise tiers were made for the dance floor. No size label, will fit a modern 0-6.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Early '60s bronze metallic wiggle dress - anonymous

This spangly cocktail dress is dripping with Old Hollywood glamour from the gathered halter neckline to the nipped-in ruched waist. If you're looking to up the bombshell factor in your wardrobe, this is the dress for you. Unlabeled, about a modern 0-4.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

'70s Halston crimson cashmere day dress

Another killer Halston, this time in the lightest tomato-red cashmere. With built-in pockets and a changeable side-tie neckline, this is the perfect dress for day to night. No size label, about a modern 4-6.

More Betsey!

Another bold print from Betsey Johnson! This punk label gem is in slinky stretch velour and has a seriously saucy plunging back. Not for a shrinking violet (but definitely a racy rose!) Labeled a medium, but clingy stretch fabric means this will fit smaller sizes as well.
