Grecian Formula: Five Divine Dresses

We're not talking about the mid-life crisis variety - these beautifully draped and diaphanous dresses are guaranteed to bring out your inner deity.

'70s Holly's Harp black faux-wrap dress

Pictures don't do this one justice - it's quite a bit racier in reality with its plunging v-neck, keyhole back closure, and figure skimming semi-sheer fabric.
Labeled a medium, this will fit a range of sizes up to about a modern 8.

'70s Stan Herman for Van Raalte slip/dress

Technically, this one's lingerie but we think it's even better as a dress (partially lined in the important places). By Mr. Mort designer Stan Herman, its turquoise tiers were made for the dance floor. No size label, will fit a modern 0-6.

How about a Halston?

Anyone who was anyone wore Halston during the decadent disco years. These day-to-night dresses from the design legend are as stylish today as they were when glossy swans stormed the dance floor in Halston's creations.

Late '70s Halston Ultrasuede shirtwaist

Besides his signature clingy jersey, Halston was known for introducing ultrasuede to the mainstream. This sexy blue shirtwaist dress hugs all the right places - and the button-down front means lots of room for strategic hints of skin! With its narrow matching belt and deep notched v-neck, it'll take you from the office to the dance floor with a bit of lipgloss and a pair of killer heels.
Excellent condition, a contemporary 2-4.
