We've never met a Cardin that didn't make us drool with desire! This striking modernist belt appears in the Pierre Cardin book and exemplifies the futuristic chic that is the designer's hallmark. In lustrous patent leather with its massive chrome and resin modernist buckle, this is not your average belt.
Adjustable from 26 - 36 in., the buckle is a whopping six inches wide and 3" high. Though not in perfect condition (a bit of glue near the resin & cracking on the inside leather of the belt), it is entirely wearable and a true collector's piece. SOLD

Don't forget your coats and jackets

Shopping for Spring is easy - after months of layering, everyone's entertaining fantasies of kicky little dresses and open-toed shoes. Fall/Winter presents a quandary: no one wants to try on down coats in 98% humidity but wait 'til the last minute and you're stuck with the leftovers.

Here are our favorite Fall picks, guaranteed to entice even the most die-hard beach bunnies with visions of snowy romps and glowy-cheeked window shopping.

1970s CALVIN KLEIN PEA COAT

This classic camel Pea Coat from Calvin Klein is straight out of Love Story - think Nordic knit hats and knee-high boots (dashing heir fiancee optional). A mid 70s gem that really demonstrates why Mr. Klein is known as the greatest American designer. A classic piece with polish and panache, you'll wear this one from October straight through March.
In very good condition (just missing a button from the belt), about a contemporary sz. 4.

70s JAEGER WOOL CAPE

People are all aflutter about capes for F/W and this delight from Jaeger makes it easy to see why. The chestnut brown wool drapes beautifully from the shoulder - this is what people mean by clothes that "move". No size label but will fit quite a range. Full length, in excellent condition. We also have this cape in black velvet (pictures coming shortly)

TO-DIE-FOR FENDI SUEDE COAT

This buttery red suede coat from Fendi is reminiscent of a 19th century redingote. With its josephine waist, full glamorous pleats, and high quilted collar, it may just be the definition of Autumnal chic. Fully lined in Fendi logo red, hidden buttons, and romantic sleeves.
Labeled a 42, contemporary 4-6, ca. late 1970s. Gently worn but in overall good condition.

UNBELIEVABLE PLAID UNGARO

We're swooning over the exaggerated plaid on this Emanuel Ungaro boucle wool coat. The details on this one aren't fully captured by the camera - inverted pleats towards the oversized pockets give it a swingy cocoon shape and the mid-thigh length makes everyone look leggy.
Sz. 42, fits up to a modern 8, immaculate condition.
